Boston Bhangra!
Thank you for your interest in the Boston Bhangra Competition (BBC). Bhangra is a highly energetic folk dance from the Punjab region of India/Pakistan. You don’t want to miss out on the chance of hearing the feet pulsing music, and phenomenal atmosphere at the event. You will see some of the best dance performances of the year with teams that come to Boston from the US, Canada and even abroad!
For the first time in our 23 year history, we will have both Live Teams and Music teams competing in 2 separate categories with distinct judges for each. Live Bhangra is when teams dance to the band that is playing with them on stage as they perform. Music performances are with pre-recorded music mixed together by a DJ that the teams perform to. You will get to witness both styles this year!

Team Registration
Teams from all over North America & Canada have deemed us “one of the best bhangra competitions” in the North America, and we look forward to living up to that title again this year. As a Team, you will get to experience one of the best competitions in North America along with a chance to win the first place prize of $2,500 in your respective category! Regular registration is closed, however, Late registration closes on Friday, September 25th. Please review the registration packet here. We will also accept a limited amount of teams on a rolling basis based on when you apply! Thus, the earlier you apply, the sooner you will know where you're performing on November 14th, 2026!
